Intuitive Painting Workshop at Olympia Parks and Recreation Arts Center

When the hustle and bustle of the holidays is over, it’s time to treat yourself to a rejuvenation of heart and soul.  Intuitive (expressive) painting is a way to get past the self-imposed blocks and limitations of the mind and allow the creative juices to flow.  Our intuitive self will be our guide as we delight in color, flow and form.  Shapes and images will emerge and ask to be further defined.  Paper or canvas preparation will be taught, as well as various, experimental pouring, removing and texturing techniques.  Most of all, we will have fun, relax and enjoy the creative process together.  Each student will go home with at least one painting.
